Awakening the Body
Autumn 2025
Starts Tuesday 7th October, 7-8.15 pm UK time
A yoga practice to inhabit fully your body, working gently and yet deeply. Every movement is an invitation to listen and to be present.
We will work at developing flexibility, strength and flow in the movement. There will be time to ground the body and the mind, finding centeredness and quietness within. Conscious movement will support natural breathing, the circulation of energy and the release of blockages.
Through the course I will propose different themes and yet in all sessions the aim will be to recover your inner space, physically and metaphorically. The practice will allow us to access a restful simplicity.
You can participate life in the classes
You will also receive a recording if you cannot attend or if you want to practice the session again at your pace.

Cost
6 weeks course £75 or €80 (£15 or 16€ a single session)
Practice Space
Please create a comfortable space for your practice, a yoga mat, blanket, a couple of blocks if you have. A place where you can be undisturbed and relaxed.
Returning to the Body
Tuesday 7th October 7 – 8.15 pm (UK time)
Returning to the body and welcoming it gently. Waking up the whole body, activating circulation and energy. Simple, progressive and fluid movements, exploring micro-movements and opening a dialogue between different body parts. Welcome the body to Autumn time.
Lower Back
Tuesday 19th October 7 – 8.15 pm (UK time)
Learning to mobilize the lower back to decompress, alleviate discomfort and support greater mobility of the whole spine. Paying attention to the movement of the hips, sacrum, lumbar, the bowl of the pelvis to recover aliveness and sensitivity.
Upper Back
Tuesday 4th November 7 – 8.15 pm (UK time)
Supporting the release of the shoulders and the neck. The upper body holds many tensions. In this session will concentrate and releasing the shoulders, the neck, the jaw, face and skull. Through mobilizations, awareness in movement, self massage we are able to let go deeply.
Creating Space
Tuesday 11th November 7 – 8.15 pm (UK time)
We will focus on gently working with the joints to release tensions held in there. We pay attention to the movement of the shoulder joints, hip joints, jaw, lumbar spine, writs, ankles… Our capacity to move is given greatly by the capacity to articulate our body and we do so through the joints, the meeting points of bones.
Spirals
Tuesday 18th November 7 – 8.15 pm (UK time)
The spiral is at the core of all structures in the body. Embodying the spiral movement reconnects us with a natural force. We learn to fold and unfold, open and close, turn in and turn out. Reconnecting with our natural, resilient and alive body.
Flowing Movements
Tuesday 25th November 7 – 8.15 pm (UK time)
We invite flowing movements, as if tracing lines with the body with ease and breath. As we move we invite more fluidity. We experiment with different ways of moving to eliminate restrictions and open up more space.
